Mbilia Bel began her career as a Singer/Dancer with Abeti Masikini and the legendary Sam Mangwana. It wasn't until she joined Tabu Ley's Afrisa international that she rose to super stardom during the 1980's. Mbilia has continuously utilized the talents of Rigo Star both in studio and concert.
Phenomene is Mbilias first solo effort, originally released in 1988. Two new tracks have been added, eli Loba" and "Lamara (instrumental)" Mbilia rich, dreamy vocals-coupled here with Rigo's lush melodies make her a perennial favorite with audiences worldwide.
